Owner and Founder

We are located at 44 Blende Avenue Roodepoort. I Yolande Buckley am the founder and sole owner of the company. My journey to my passion for food started at the tender age of nine years, cooking full meals alone for my family. I was blessed to work my way from cook, chef, executive dining chef to manager in the food industry. I worked in the catering industry until my grandson was born and I started my very own catering company Thanda Bantu Catering.

During one of my big events, I hired a qualified chef who assist with the cooking & I was disappointed in his dish so I went behind his back and correctly seasoned the dish. After this incident I then started making my own cook in sauce so that all events had my standard quality of food. My gifting is that I can eat a meal, go home and, after several attempts, I can make the recipe. (A gift given from God alone.) I married into Islam and was exposed to Oriental types of foods, resulting in my tasty curries.

Lockdown in our country took away our catering income away and I need to think out the box. That is when I decided to create Simply Deli the organic cooking sauce to some of my most loved dishes in my catering company. Simply Deli was berthed in 2021. The purpose was an alternative way to generate an income. Our target market and customers are busy housewives, students, pensioners and 3 catering companies

Our Cook In Sauces have been created during lock down, to help house wives, executives or working moms to Simplify their cooking time. It is cost effective and saving you electricity and preparation of ingredients (all bagged in our sauces).

These days our time is very precious, and our Cook In Sauces can save you lots of time.

Your cooking becomes Simply Done with you only having to add your protein to your meal, and most of the dishes can be cooked in 20 minutes.
